Frequently
Asked Questions and Customer Comments
Q)
What connectors do you offer on your antennas?
A)
The
standard 1 kilowatt model is available in either "N" or
SO-239.
Higher power versions are available with
7/16" DIN. All connectors are Teflon insulated.
Q)
How
is your antenna mounted?
A)
The
antenna is easily mounted using the supplied 1-1/2 inch U-Bolts. It can me mounted to
standard mast or to the top of a tower.
Q)
I've
seen other collinear FM Broadcast antennas that were much shorter then
your 17.5 foot Phazor, how is this possible?
A)
The
Phazor (patents pending) is the ONLY collinear FM Broadcast antenna
available. One must assume the manufacturers of these other antennas do
not understand the definition of a collinear antenna. Collinear antennas
must have two or more active elements driven in phase. This makes the
Phazor noticeably longer then all other FM Broadcast antennas.

Dave from WRMV radio writes, "Thanks for a great product! It does
everything you say it will do. Just hooked it up last Thursday and was astounded
at its performance! It will run circles around any of the expensive ones from
the big broadcast equipment companies and its durable too!! Buy it, buy it, buy
it! Dave Cash, Fellowship Broadcasting".

Patrick
from music radio 107.5 writes, "I recently purchased the 3/4 wave
antenna and installed it just over a week ago. I am totally satisfied with
it. It performs just as it was described! I had been using the Comet 5/8
wave for about 3 years, and was happy with it's performance, but it got to
where it wasn't performing correctly...my SWR was way out of sync. I was
going to get another Comet, but happened to find your website, and saw
the 3/4 wave advertised. It sounded so good that I decided to order it,
even though it was a little more money that I had intended to spend.
Believe me, it was well worth the extra expense!! My signal penetration is
so much better in my coverage area. My SWR is the best it's ever been...I
had the antenna factory tuned to my frequency. Also, my Power Meter shows
an additional 10% - 15% of output power from my transmitter....not sure
how that's possible since I was operating right at the maximum power
rating for the transmitter before. Bottom line, I highly recommend this
antenna for anyone needing a new one. Plus, my dealings with company were
great....they answer questions quickly, and the antenna was shipped within
a couple of days of the order".

James writes, "Hi
Again, Just a short note to say we set-up the antenna and we are very
impressed with the SWR reading, so much so that the second guy helping me,
after doing the SWR meter calibration for FSD and switching over to read
reflected power the needle stayed so close to the bottom of the scale, he
remarked "is the meter working?" This compared to my dummy load
of 1.5 to 1 , and the lowest I had seen with a folded dipole of 1.8 to 1
,just before we ordered your antenna we tried the 5/8 wave and could not
get a reading below 2.6 to 1".
